David Mertens and Martine Schoutens, two interior architects, are the yin and yang of DM interior. This duo gets their strength from their flawless interaction, which always leads to surprising results.

David is the creative brain behind the operation and his fresh ideas will give shape to your space.

Martine is his critical sounding board and the assistant architect in charge of permits but also the person who will put your plans in detail to paper. Together with their team they will provide a unique comprehensive solution for your interior project!

Extra tricks up their sleeves: David and Martine speak four languages and love working both in Belgium and abroad.

Interior architect with a soft spot for the Belgian coast.

David made his name as an interior architect from his offices in Knokke-Heist. Proof thereof are the numerous published articles in leading interior magazines.

Martine had been gaining experience for ten years in big architectural firms in Bruges before she joined David.

Their team then expanded further and has now become a solid group of employees and freelance assistants. In 2012 DM Interieur moved to offices in Zeebrugge – their new base for interior design from Knokke-Heist to De Panne and far beyond.
